Duff Browne

Duff Browne 1976

Duff Browne, from Austin, created his limestone sculpture titled “Images” at the original symposium in 1976.  Browne received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Texas Christian University and  Creative Arts at University of Oklahoma.  At the time of the symposium he was a member of the National American Crafts Council and was a member of Georgia Designer Craftsman Council Exhibitions. He later became a professional broadcaster and television producer and director. He also wrote many numerous stories and radio and television plays in addition to producing sculpture until his death in 2000.
